For me it was really important to find a guide that both had an in-depth knowledge of the Beatles as well as make it possible for me to tap into that well of knowledge. And I did find that in David Bedford - a well of knowledge second to none - and also a very nice person. I had searched the net and found that he had written books about the group - so I was very pleased when I had the opportunity to book him. We spent a day together and that was time very well spent and a day I will fondly remember. It was just David and myself - plus an excellent driver - and we had some really good discussions. He filled in my blanks exquisitely - what he does not know is probably not worth knowing. I recommend a day with David from the bottom of my heart!
